MEET SEAN F. ORR

Mr. Orr has been successful in a range of environments – from publicly owned Fortune 100s to global and developing stage privately-owned companies. Company experience includes: PepsiCo, Frito-Lay, Tropicana, KPMG, Interpublic, Readers’ Digest, Revlon, Louis Vuitton and Towers Watson.

He is an effective business advisor and coach who believes in building businesses from the foundation up using a values-based approach. His executive and consulting experience has involved travel to over 40 countries and six continents. He graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Boston College with a B.A. in mathematics and major concentrations in economics and accounting.

He also completed a special Stanford University Executive MBA program while at KPMG and is a CPA.

Sean F. Orr is a CFO and senior operating executive who has been successful in a range of environments – from publicly owned Fortune 100s to both global and developing stage privately-owned companies. He is an effective business advisor and coach who believes in making big, lasting impact by building businesses properly from the foundation up using a values-based approach.

His executive and consulting experience has involved the travel to over 40 countries and six continents. His expertise includes such areas as individual executive coaching, effective team building and performance management, corporate governance, and systems and process improvement. His industry experience includes consumer products, media and entertainment, and business and consumer services and manufacturing and distribution.

Sean has held a range of senior executive positions, including President, Corporate CFO, Operating CFO and Corporate Controller roles at such notable companies as PepsiCo, Frito-Lay and Reader’s Digest. He began his career as an audit partner at KPMG where he has served numerous clients that are global household names. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of a national logistics and distribution business where he built a Finance and I/T organization that supported over 100% growth through acquisition and organic expansion.

As a corporate executive, he has played critical roles in major acquisitions and dispositions of businesses of all sizes – most notably, the merger of the Interpublic Group  with True North Communications (the largest merger in advertising industry history at that time) and the PepsiCo spinoff of the Pepsi Bottling Group and acquisition of Tropicana. His Board experience with two public companies includes serving twice as Chair of the Finance Committee as well as Audit Committee, Human Resources and Compensation Committee, and Special Advisory Committee roles. He also has extensive experience serving on Boards in the not-for-profit and the private sector, having successfully served twice as President of well known institutions.
